Southern Home Hybrid Grape
Item #: Southern Home Hybrid Grape
Availability: Pick-up Only
Southern Home is a hybrid bunch x muscadine grape developed from breeding work done by my grandfather's close friend Bob Zhender and Dr. John Mortenson from the University of Florida. It bears clusters of black, elongated grapes with excellent sweet flavor and a high sugar content (17.5-18.5%). It also has an attractive maple shaped leaf with deep sinuses, that shows its bunch grape heritage. One of the best cultivars! Very hardy, disease resistant. Self-Fertile. Does not need pollinator. Ripens Aug-Sep. Zones 7-9.
Available for pickup from the farm 1-gallon and 3-gallon. Please call for prices and availability.
